The Wildlife Art of David Stribbling

Welcome to the wildlife art of David Stribbling. This site features many of the paintings I have done over the past few years and include original oil paintings of tiger, lion, leopard, cheetah, cougar (puma, mountain lion), jaguar, elephant, wolves, bears, fox, badger, zebra, bird and many more. The site is regularly updated as new work is completed. If you are interested in commissioning a painting please e-mail me and I'll give you details of price etc.

Please note, all the paintings shown here are now sold and my new paintings are now being sold very soon after completion. New paintings are regularly available and previewed on this page and also at my ebay listings page. My daughters, Sarah and Rachel are also now producing some beautiful wildlife art. If you would like to be notified as soon as new paintings and prints become available please just leave your e-mail on the form below. Many thanks.

David Stribbling.

The painting is about half finished at this stage. It will be left for a week or so now to dry before looking at it again working on the tonal contrasts and detail.

Finished painting detail.

Note the tonal differences between the zebras at the back and the one at the front.

Been working on the background only. At the moment the zebras have no real tonal quality, just body and stripes as a template. Again, I'll leave this to dry to keep everything crisp and sharp before working on the detail of the zebras and adding a little dust here and there.
